David Byrne: Playing the Building
Playing the Building is a fascinating project by David Byrne where he hooks up an old pump organ to the The Battery Maritime Building in New York. Various motors are attached to the different pipes, radiators and other metal structural elements of the building, each giving off a unique sound when the corresponding key on the organ is played.
